About Housing the Hub Campaign​

Housing the Hub is a Lubbock campaign dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness through client navigation and connection to housing, essential services, and community empowerment. Every dollar raised helps us provide the essential support and equitable access to shelter, food, community case management, and resources to help our neighbors reclaim their independence.​

In late 2022, ECHO West Texas entered a critical phase of development through a collaborative effort with local housing and service providers who recognized the urgent need for more coordinated, action-oriented solutions to address homelessness in the Lubbock area. This partnership was driven by the demand for a centralized data system to enhance communication among providers, streamline service navigation, and ensure individuals experiencing homelessness could access timely and effective support.

To sustain and expand this important work, local support is essential. Our annual "Housing the Hub" campaign provides a vital opportunity for the community to invest in the ongoing development of Lubbock’s Homeless Response System. Contributions to the campaign help fund system coordination, data infrastructure, capacity-building initiatives, and direct support to service providers - ensuring we can continue making a measurable impact. Together, we can strengthen local solutions and create a more connected and compassionate response to homelessness in our region.​
