Our Mission
ECHO West Texas is committed to connecting communities and providers to coordinate resources for people experiencing homelessness
Our Purpose
ECHO West Texas helps facilitate collaboration among providers, to coordinate services through a central database. Our goal is to promote a coordinated system of care, sustainable strategies, and measurable impact, and develop collective funding solutions for homeless service providers.
In this time of uncertainty, marked by funding cuts, economic shifts, and increasing need, we must work smarter and together. As organizations and service providers, we exist for one purpose: to Serve. And we must lead with that commitment - to Serve First, and to Serve United.
True collaboration requires us to honor, respect, and value each other’s perspectives, lived experiences, and contributions. This is not just about organizational alignment, it’s about real lives. The people we serve, those experiencing homelessness, those on the brink, those who are hurting, scared, and alone - are counting on us to put aside silos, self-pride, and inefficiencies. They need us to show up - not just with services, but with unity and shared purpose.
During a recent local Lubbock mission trip, a woman experiencing homelessness shared a powerful piece of advice for how we -as a community- can better serve her and others in crisis. She said simply: “work with principles over personalities.”
Let that guide us, as a reminder that our mission is bigger than any one of us, and that real change only happens when we commit to showing up for each other and for our community - Together.

In just two and half years of full operation, ECHO West Texas has become a vital collaborator and supporter of agencies across various sectors. Our mission is to connect communities and providers by coordinating resources through a central community database for individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
We’ve recently placed a stronger emphasis on prevention and sustainability services, aiming to move beyond crisis response and break cycles of recurring financial hardship and homelessness.
