A Note From the Director:

In this time of uncertainty, marked by funding cuts, economic shifts, and increasing need, we must work smarter and together. As organizations and service providers, we exist for one purpose: to Serve. And we must lead with that commitment - to Serve First, and to Serve United.​

True collaboration requires us to honor, respect, and value each other’s perspectives, lived experiences, and contributions. This is not just about organizational alignment, it’s about real lives. The people we serve, those experiencing homelessness, those on the brink, those who are hurting, scared, and alone - are counting on us to put aside silos, self-pride, and inefficiencies. They need us to show up - not just with services, but with unity and shared purpose.

During a recent local Lubbock mission trip, a woman experiencing homelessness shared a powerful piece of advice for how we -as a community- can better serve her and others in crisis. She said simply: “work with principles over personalities.”

​

Let that guide us, as a reminder that our mission is bigger than any one of us, and that real change only happens when we commit to showing up for each other and for our community - Together.
